An interesting personal grouping, belonging to Hayes H Rossman, dog tag shows a tetanus date of 1945. Also includes his bible, named inside and noted as being a gift from his parents, dated 21 February 1945. Also with clutch back name tape, possibly something post-war or civilian.
A genuine period piece, an M-1936 Musette Bag, sound condition throughout, no rips or tears. Manufactured by Atlantic Products Corp and dated 1943.
An OD-7 and late war Korean era E-Tool cover, good servicable condition.
Original US Army, WW2 era, shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI). The patch would have been worn on the shirts and jackets of US GIs who served in this unit. Â
A leather shoulder holster, manufactured by BOYT and dated 1944, US Navy variant. Holster is complete with strap, in good wearable condition. Leather is quite stiff but should loosen up nicely with treatment.
A genuine Officer’s crusher cap chin strap. The leather is a little hardened, but still flexible and there is has been one repair near the buckle, invisible when the strap is in place. Brown leather, it does look black on the pictures, but it is the correct brown leather colour.
