We have recently come across a number of these, which are assumed to be quite historic, given what we know about their history, possibly made by Spink in the years immediately after the war.
Approximately 9mm width, these oak leaves were issued to denote a second award of a particular medal, such as the Bronze or Silver Star or Purple Heart.
