Excellent quality reproduction insignia for the United States 8th Army Air Force.  This insignia has been reproduced specifically for Hornbeam Militaria and was created using an original example which is on display at a museum in Suffolk, from which we have copied the size, material and colouring.  This particular recreation is hand sewn and has been copied from a hand sewn example.  Note it has been created with a rough edge, not like some of the lower quality reproductions on the market that have a thickened border which was not present on the originals.

The hand stitched has been done using antique bullion thread.

Measures 63mm diameter.  Perfect for re-enactment, shadow boxes or framed tributes. A picture of the original is included within the listing for comparison purposes.
