Original medal ribbon for the full size World War One British War Medal. This is New-Old-Stock , as in medal ribbon made in the period of initial issue, which was subsequently not cut and issued. General slight wear and tear, looks to be several long lengths added to one spool. Displays very well though.
We have carried out a burn test to confirm that it is a silk ribbon, rather than a more modern plastic reproduction.
