Reproduction Indian Mutiny Medal 1858 as awarded for service during the Sepoy Mutiny in India between 1857 and 1858.  The medal was awarded to personnel of the Royal Navy and British Army as well as Indian forces, sometimes with a clasp denoting a specific action.   It was also awarded to many civilians who took part in suppressing the Mutiny. This medal is a reproduction of the full size medal, in a zinc alloy, with an antique finish, the original medal being solid silver.
