Part of our Made in England range, this patch has been designed and produced by British craftmen in the UK. We use either cotton or cotton polyester blend thread, depending upon the nature of the patch, sewn onto a wool or wool blend felt backing with a 100% cotton backing as a stiffener.
Made in small batches so sizing varies, but these are approximately 55mm wide by 45mm wide.
The sphinx on a yellow background was worn by the 9th, and later the 30th Battalions when based in the UK, until 1944.
