Reproduction 1914-15 Star as awarded to British and some allied forces for service during the First World War. This medal is a reproduction of the full size medal and is sold with a loose length of meticulosly sourced ribbon, ready for displaying the medal. Note the correct detailing on the medal, with some of the mass produced units on the market incorrectly bearing the Aug and Nov scrolls, that were only present on the 1914 Star.
The 1914–15 Star is a campaign medal of the British Empire which was awarded to officers and men of British and Imperial forces who served in any theatre of the First World War against the Central European Powers during 1914 and 1915. The medal was never awarded singly and recipients also received the British War Medal and Victory Medal.
The medal is ideal to help create a tribute to a family member who served and saves having priceless originals on display for anyone to see.
