Original medal ribbon for the full size British World War 2 Africa Star Medal. This is New-Old-Stock , as in medal ribbon made in the period of initial issue, which was subsequently not cut and issued. Â
The sand colouring of the ribbon represents the African desert and the blue, black and red bands represent the colours of the British armed forces.
